Ranfurly Homes for Children Elicits Donations for Future Projects

For nearly a decade, Lester Turnquest has served as managing director at Green Bay Group, Ltd., a financial services company based in Nassau, Bahamas. An experienced consultant and business advisor, Lester Turnquest also supports the charitable organization Ranfurly Homes for Children.

Founded in 1956 by Lady Hermione Ranfurly following a massive citywide fire in Nassau, Ranfurly Homes for Children provides care services to children in need throughout The Bahamas. Under the leadership of President Alexandra Maillis-Lynch and Vice President Joey Premock, Ranfurly ultimately aims to improve and expand its services via donations. The organization’s primary objectives include revamping its dormitories and living facilities, as well as one day offering transitional housing and various educational and occupational opportunities to older residents.

Donations can be made to Ranfurly in the form of individual contributions, annual membership fees, and funds can also be raised for the charity by sponsored events. All donations are directly used to improve the lives of Bahamian youths. To learn more about Ranfurly Homes for Children or to make a donation, visit www.RanfurlyHome.org.
